Appleton Tournament (1-27/28)
We are now going to be playing in the Appleton Players Choice Tournament on January 27th
and 28th. The Pardeeville Tournament Director failed to return my calls and never cashed my check so I decided to check
on other options. The tourney we are now in should be biegger and better anyway. Players Choice is a multi-sport facility
that has baseball indoor hitting cages, ball fields and several basketball courts. We would also like to have a
party at the Best Western Hotel on Saturday night for all the players and their families. We will try to coordinate this in
the next few days. The cost for a room with two double beds is $69. Please try and register with the hotel ASAP.
First Tourney
Due to a scheduling miscommunication on my part, our tournament at the Horicon Boys Club
is now set for Saturday, January 13th instead of the Sunday January 7th. We are hoping this does not inconvenience any
of you. Please let us know if there are going to be any problems. Also, Mark Brodesser is checking on hotels during the Fond
du lac tourney. We should know something by the end of the week.
First Practice
The 2006-07 West Bend
West Spartans 5th Grade Basketball season gets underway this coming
Tuesday (11/14) in the WBHS South Gym from 8:00-9:00PM. We will also be practicing on Thursday (at the same
time and place), as well as Saturday from 2:00-3:30PM. The remaining practice dates and times will be
finalized sometime next week.
